Villarreal Virginia Academy – Travel Program Overview

Villarreal Virginia Academy (VIVA) is committed to delivering consistent, comprehensive, and high-quality player development. Our professional coaching staff and structured programming are designed to help every player reach their full potential in a competitive, year-round environment.

Program Commitment

The Travel Season runs August through June and is a year-round commitment. Winter indoor programming is not included.

VIVA makes a professional commitment to our players and coaching staff — and we expect the same dedication from our families.

2026/2027 Travel Fees

(Payable in 5 installments upon acceptance)

  • U9–U10 (08/01/2016–07/31/2018): $2,140

  • U11–U12 (08/01/2014–07/31/2016): $2,450

  • U13–U19 (08/01/2008–07/31/2014): $2,670

What Travel Fees Include

  • Professional coaching compensation

  • League & player card fees (NCSL, VPSL/ECNL-RL, US Club Soccer)

  • Referee fees (league play)

  • Fairfax County field usage & maintenance

  • Equipment (goals, balls, training equipment)

  • Club administration, IT, marketing & operations

  • Fall & Spring league play

  • Winter outdoor training (weather permitting)

  • Up to four tournament coaching fees (expenses not included)

  • Villarreal Virginia Academy membership

Not Included (Team-Based Costs)

  • Tournament entry fees

  • Coach travel expenses (hotels, mileage, flights)

  • State Cup fees

  • Uniform kit & optional gear

  • Winter indoor leagues

  • Camps, clinics, and additional programming

Team fees vary depending on tournament participation and travel requirements.

Sibling Discount

Families with two or more players in the Travel Program receive a 20% discount applied to the lower player fee.

Refund & Financial Policy

  • Acceptance into a team is a season-long commitment.

  • No refunds after accepting a roster position.

  • Transfers will not be processed if financial obligations remain unpaid (per VYSA & US Club Soccer policy).
